Haughey welcomes €1.5 million extension for St. Paul’s College, Raheny
–The Department of Education recently granted the extension-
Dublin Bay North TD Seán Haughey has welcomed the news that St. Paul’s College, Raheny has been granted a €1.5 million extension. The Department of Education recently granted permission for the project. It is hoped that the new extension will be completed in time for the new academic year commencing September 2021.
The extension will consist of:
· 2 Special Education Needs Classrooms
· Home Economics Room
· 2 Art Rooms
· 2 Woodwork Rooms
· Music Room
· Small Toilet Block
Local TD and past pupil of St. Paul’s Seán Haughey welcomed the news “I am delighted St. Paul’s has been granted this extension. The new facilities will allow the school to continue providing a high quality of education to the communities of Clontarf, Raheny and the surrounding area. The school, its teachers and pupils will have the benefit of these new facilities for years to come.”
St. Paul’s College has been providing secondary education for boys since 1959 and currently has 650 pupils.
